Aspire Art presents In the Eye of the Beholder on view in our Johannesburg gallery from 5 to 29 February.

The exhibition features a curated selection of artworks and objects currently available for purchase.

Featured artists include Walter Battiss, Cecil Skotnes, Lucky Sibiya, Erik Laubscher and Nhlanhla Xaba alongside contemporary names like Simon Stone, Brett Murray, Ndikhumbule Ngqinambi and Lucy Jane Turpin among others.

In the Eye of the Beholder is an invitation to explore the diverse perspectives and interpretations that art elicits. The collection of 48 works not only celebrates the unique way in which each artist creates but also how each viewer perceives aesthetic value and meaning within an artwork. Here the subjective experience of art takes centre stage – a reminder that true appreciation lies not only in the artist's intent but also in the individual contemplation of the beholder.
