Works on paper including drawings and watercolours present a unique and intimate insight into the creative process as well as the wider production output of an artist. The medium conveys artistic exploration, experimentation and storytelling. Highlights on this sale include a set of crayon and ink drawings on cards by celebrated Ivorian artist, Frédéric Bruly Bouabré, two technically superb, sensitive drawings by Dumile Feni and a watercolour by modern master George Pemba from 1948.
