Aspire Art is pleased to present the second edition of the fundraising auction in support of the Cape Town Photography Festival.

Following the success of the inaugural fundraising sale and the festival's first edition in 2025, this auction brings together an outstanding selection of photographic works by established and emerging photographers from South Africa and abroad. Proceeds from the auction will support the festival's exhibitions, educational initiatives, public programming, and community outreach projects, helping to foster a dynamic and inclusive photographic culture.

The fundraising auction collection includes works by internationally recognised photographers such as Guy Tillim, Maurice Mbikayi, Margaret Courtney-Clarke, Patrick de Mervelec, Suok Won Yoon, and Angèle Etoundi Essamba, alongside a diverse group of emerging and established practitioners. Many of these photographers do not traditionally work within the commercial gallery and auction arena, making the sale a rare opportunity for collectors to acquire important works while supporting the continued growth of the festival.

As this is a fundraising auction; collectors will not be charged a buyer's premium.
